Today is pub day for THE GOLDFINCHby Donna Tartt. Coincidentally, today is also the opening day for a Dutch Masters exhibit at The Frick Museum. That exhibit includes this painting, The Goldfinch by Dutch artist Carel Fabritius, that gives the novel its name.
